Advances in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning serves to disseminate the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in higher education. Aimed at promoting lively conversations on teaching and learning among members of the education industry, this online journal features examples that focus on current thinking, pedagogical practices, and latest trends in SoTL. The publication also seeks to build on and enhance SoTL through a systematic inquiry of teaching practices and learning experiences that have potential applications for educators.
A peer reviewed, trans-disciplinary, open-access electronic journal, Advances in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is created and supported by the Teaching and Learning Centre, SIM University. Published twice a year, the range of articles addresses topics and issues of significance to practitioners, scholars and researchers who are concerned with diverse aspects of teaching and learning. It welcomes contributions on development initiatives which enhance teaching and learning across disciplines. Contributions can be in the form of research articles, case studies, essays, or reviews of current scholarship.
